Marco Vernaschi

In 2012 Marco Vernaschi (Italy, 1973) was named ‘Ambassador of Italian Excellence in the World’ by the Italian Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Culture, while TIME called him one of the most important contemporary artists. Among the prizes he has won are a World Press Photo, several PGB Photo Awards, the FUJIFILM Prize and a Sony Photo Award. His work has been seen in the Venice Biënnale and other venues.
