Wawi Navarroza

Wawi Navarroza (Philippines, 1979) is a multidisciplinary celebrated artist working primarily with photography. She stages her still lifes and self-portraits around subjects such as transnationality, postcolonialism and female identity. Noorderlicht has shown her work several times, the first of which was during the festival ‘Another Asia’ (2000).
