About Susanne Kriemann
Treating the world as an analogue recording system, she investigates “slow violence” through photographic research, site-specific installations, and artist books. Her long-term projects trace the residues of mining, radioactivity, and ecological transformation. Kriemann has exhibited at institutions including the Stedelijk Museum, Camera Austria, ZKM, Musée d’art Moderne Paris, and the Shanghai and Diriyah Biennials. She co-directs ABA – AiR Berlin Alexanderplatz and has published over 18 artist books.
