Sara Sejin Chang (Sara van der Heide) (1977, KR/NL) born in Busan and raised in the Netherlands, works at the intersection of decolonial critique, transnational adoption histories, and spiritual healing.

Her practice incorporates personal mythologies and political narratives into ritual-based forms of storytelling. With a background in painting and expanded media, she engages in long-term research that reclaims silenced genealogies. Her work has been presented at the Berlin Biennale, ARGOS Brussels, and Casco Art Institute. She has taught at the Piet Zwart Institute and was an artist-in-residence at WIELS in Brussels.
