Martine Stig

Martine Stig (1972) studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (The Hague) and philosophy at the University of Amsterdam. Stig has published four books and several artist’s publications. Her work has been exhibited at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Aperture Foundation (New York), and Huis Marseille (Amsterdam). Stig’s work is included in the collections of the Nederlands Fotomuseum, H+F, Bouwfonds, ABN AMRO and the Fries Museum. She teaches at the Master Institute of Visual Cultures, Den Bosch and is co-founder of the art & research cooperative Radical Reversibility.
