Hedwich Rooks

Her practice delves into material transformations and speculative chemistry to explore how bodies—both human and non-human—interact with unstable environments. Fusing sculpture, sound, and lens-based media, she creates visceral installations that trace the thresholds of perception. Rooks co-founded the artist collective Acid Salt and has presented her work at institutions like FIBER Festival, Bioart Society, and Brutus Rotterdam.
