Erwin Olaf

Erwin Olaf (b. 1959) studied journalism at the School of Journalism in Utrecht, and he has won several awards for his work. He was given the award in the Young European Photographer competition in 1981 for Chessmen. He has been awarded the Netherlands’ prestigious Johannes Vermeer Award, as well as Photographer of the Year at the International Color Awards, and Kunstbeeld magazine’s Dutch Artist of the Year.
