Emma Godfrey Pigott

Her practice explores landscape as both character and stage, using it to reflect on liminality (stages in-between transition), the climate crisis, and New Materialist perspectives. Working with lens-based media, alternative processes, and site-specific installation, she allows chance and collaboration to shape her images. Her project The Last Snowball captures the fleeting poetics of alpine transformation and has been exhibited at FotoNostrum Barcelona, the Royal Photographic Society, and the Bienal de Foto do Porto.
