Elena Subach

Elena Subach (1980, Chervonohrad, Urkaine) came to photography around 2012, joining the “5×5 / Dzyga” art community. Main topics in her artistic practices are: life in the province, religion, the connection between mythology and identity, her private relations with the world and her own country, with life and death. Her grandfather, an icon painter, and the library of her father had a great impact on Elena. Future Talents 2019 nominee for the ‘Babusi” project. Based in Lviv, Ukraine
