Daniel Kariko

Daniel Kariko (Yugoslavia, 1976) emigrated to the United States in 1994, where he gained his Bachelor’s degree at the Nicholls State University in Louisiana, and his Masters of Fine Arts at the Arizona State University. Kariko is particularly concerned with the use and loss of land, and geopolitical and ecological questions relating to this. Kariko is a senior university lecturer at the East Carolina University in Greenville. His series Speculation World was exhibited at the Noorderlicht Photo Festival Land in 2010.
