About Anouk Kruithof

She explores systems of image circulation and collective embodiment, often using found footage, performance, and algorithmic processes. Her celebrated project Universal Tongue compiles global dance cultures into expansive video mosaics, questioning authorship and algorithmic patterning. Kruithof has exhibited at institutions such as SFMOMA, Palais de Tokyo, and Museum Folkwang, and is the recipient of awards including the Charlotte Köhler Prize and the Volkskrant Art Public Prize.
