Evgeniy Pavlov

Evgeniy Pavlov (1949, Kharkiv) is a co-founder of the group Vremia (Time), which became a wellknown center of provocative photography in the Soviet Union. Since the late 1980s, Pavlov has also worked extensively in documentary photography. Much of what Pavlov and other representatives of the Kharkov School filmed at the time, carried the charge of a really vital force, a truth that had a resonant echo the world over.
