About Špela Petrič

Her practice bridges biology, performance, and speculative design to explore the entanglements of human and non-human life. Through performative installations and artistic research, she questions anthropocentrism and probes the boundaries of knowledge systems. Her work has been shown at Ars Electronica, ZKM, Centre Pompidou, and the Venice Architecture Biennale. She received the Bioart & Design Award, the White Aphroid, and Award of Distinction from Prix Ars Electronica.
