Publication are very important to Noorderlicht. After all, they remain once the walls are cleared and the festival is over. During Noorderlicht 1999 four new publications appear, by our own publisher Aurora Borealis.

The photobook 'Wonderland' is a representation in bookform of the main exhibition. In this hardcover book images by all participants are featured.

The catalogue '99 Frames in 99' shows what is featured in the galleries and museums. In this paperback, work is presented from each of the galleries and museums that contribute to Noorderlicht.

The photographers in the Korenbeurs are presented in the zero-issue of a new magazine, that is going to appear more often in the future, on an irregular basis.

The CD-ROM 'Wonderland' finally, offers a presentation of all exhibitions taking place during Noorderlicht 1999. The CD-ROM contains over 500 photographs and many texts.
