During the Noorderlicht 1999 Photofestival, outside of the two main locations, 67 additional photo-exhibitions will take place. They are divided into three groups: exhibitions in galleries and museums in the city of Groningen, exhibitions in galleries and museums in the province of Groningen, and exhibitions in the 'open podium' with mainly regional (amateur-)photographers.
