The Noorderlicht Photofestival is thé annual international photography festival in The Netherlands. The event is held alternately in Groningen and Leeuwarden. The Festival has earned a high international reputation for the challenging social themes it addresses, the quality of the participating photographers and the imaginative way in which their work is forged into an expressive whole.
